Crystone AB has gone through an expansive phase during the past few years as a result of corporal acquisitions and organic expansion. Crystone is facing impending innovative changes, consequently upgrading their customer service, the server hall and the support system to convene with the new and upcoming requirements. Joakim Frid who has extensive experience running similar processes, has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Crystone AB and will conduct these upcoming changes.
Due to the genuine expansive phase that Crystone has experienced and is expecting more of in the future, the company has decided to take several new measures. It was communicated earlier that a new server hall was invested in and transferring to it will take place gradually during the autumn.
Crystone has handled the expansive phase very well although upgrades are now necessary to be able to handle the volumes that we have at this point. The new server hall will offer us a genuine advantage, giving us a higher level of security and above all, the prospect of delivering larger provider solutions, says the newly appointed Managing Director, Joakim Frid.
Crystone’s new Managing Director, Joakim Frid (43 years old), has broad experience of running IT-operations within the public and private sectors. For instance, Joakim has worked as a Production Manager for SJ’s IT-department consisting of 130 employees. A great deal of his work involved adapting and implementing new systems for the operations, debiting and ticketing services.
Joakim has most recently worked for MSC Konsult AB as a Consulting Manager. He has a broad experience of climbing into businesses during their restructuring phases. Joakim was amongst other things, responsible for a consulting project involving taking over the operations from companies within the Kinnevik Group, being responsible for 10 consultants within the operations group. Joakim will occupy the role of Managing Director on November 1st 2006, succeeding Runar Hreinsson who is moving on to new challenges.
We are happy that Joakim has decided to occupy the role of Managing Director at Crystone and we have great expectations of him in his impending work. His past experience of running change processes in large organizations and systematic procedures is necessary for the continued expansion of our hosting services, says Mattias Kaneteg, Managing Director of the Eastpoint Group.
Crystone has also decided to implement a new telephone and customer service system to simplify the work for support and customer service. The company’s numerous retailers can also expect new upgrades, a Retailer Supervisor has been designated and a re-introduction of the retailer contract and improved tools for retailers are on the agenda during fall.
