Our servers are located in Sweden within two secure datacenters in Stockholm, which are only accessible to technicians from Crystone. The datacenters have a fully redundant systems for power and cooling, as well as key card entrances for external protection and fire extinguishing systems which utilize halogen gas. There are two different and completely physically separate data centers located in Liljeholmen and Hammarby Lake City allowing for added geographical redundancy. The datacenter in Liljeholmen has also been furnished with upgraded switchgear.
Customer equipment is placed in 47U racks. The datacenter is built to handle the most frequent external risks to the operation of servers, systems and applications, minimizing risks related to theft, fire, power supply (such as power outages, lightning and voltage variations), water damage and sabotage.
The data center also has one of the most stable and fastest IP networks, with connections via three different fiber providers at speed on gigabit level. At any disruption automatically switches traffic to another fiber for unmatched uptime. Our suppliers have networks all over the world which allows us to offer worldwide availability.
UPS systems and diesel generator feeds are located on mutually exclusive systems which and are not interdependent. In the unlikely event of a power outage, UPS batteries are in place and fed by the diesel units that take over the power supply. When we regain power, supply is phased from the two different feeds, a backup power and primary power supply, and when we are certain that the delivery of external power is available, the generator and UPS stations are switched off, and the electricity driven operations return to normal.
